Why did you become a Private Fitness Trainer?
Growing up an athlete and overweight, I was exposed to a mix of coaching styles, ranging from excellent to borderline unsafe. It wasn’t until college that I found a strength coach who actually explained how to properly lift and program to reach my goals while giving my body adequate time to recover. I was shocked by how much better my body felt with a proper program (shocker!). Inspired by that, I pursued my personal training certification so that I could become that coach for others. From there, I fell in love with Muay Thai and boxing and haven’t turned back since.

Can you tell us about your personal training approach?
My approach to personal training is simple: educate, educate, educate! There is so much misinformation and unclear intentions in the fitness world. For me, I want my clients to understand why I program the way I do and how they are reaching their goals with the exercises we’re doing. There is an intention behind everything.
