Why did you become a Private Fitness Trainer?
โI had some pretty not great experiences with coaches in the past โ to the point where I would quit the gym all together just to avoid canceling. I was a depressed, hard working single mom who was unhappy with her life, and hated her body and kept getting paired with trainers who only cared about results.
One day I finally found a coach who was not only knowledgeable, but had the skill set that only comes from years of experience. She was patient, yet tough, empathetic, yet no BS. She challenged me and showed me what I was capable of. She changed my life. After coaching me through depression and losing 50lbs, I knew that I HAD to do this for others!โ

Can you tell us about your personal training approach?
I take a Client and Science based approach. My programming is backed by science, but the best program doesnโt matter if it doesnโt fit the clients needs.
EveryBODY is different. What works for someone else may not make sense for you! So my job is to find the best approach to helping clients reach their goals, in a way that doesnโt create an unhealthy relationship with themselves, food and exercise.
Donโt be mistaken, my workouts are no walk in the park โ If It doesnโt challenge you, it doesnโt change you. The key however, is finding the right amount of pressure and pleasure to keep the client showing up for themselves!
What else do you put in your essentials list?
Getting to the root or core issue โ I believe your physical world is a reflection of your internal world. Our health is a direct reflection of our values. We cannot diet away-a poor relationship with ourselves. We cannot simply exercise the stress away. If we want lasting change, we must first find the issue at heart.
A large chunk of the work I do with my clients involves giving them the tools they need to internally reset to ensure the work we do on the OUTSIDE actually lasts!
