Megan Farrell is a Personal Trainer certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA (Go Steelers!), and later moved to Altamonte Springs, FL. She loves hanging out with her dog Penny, drinking coffee, and traveling!

She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University but left the engineering industry to pursue her true passion: helping others achieve their health and fitness goals. Megan specializes in weight loss and strength training. Her goal is to help you lose weight, get stronger, boost your confidence, and educate you along the way.

Why did you become a Private Fitness Coach?

I became a Personal Trainer after having my own fitness transformation. Like many others, I gained weight during the pandemic & was very uncomfortable in my body. I knew I needed to make a change, so I took the leap, and hired a Coach to take the guesswork out of it, develop a structured plan, and keep myself accountable! I lost over 30lbs, kept the weight off, and fell in love with health & fitness.

Can you tell us about your personal training approach?

I use evidence-based methods in my training style, combining strength training, cardio, and mobility for a holistic, well-round, approach. I tailor each program to the client’s specific goals, challenges, and abilities. I will be your biggest cheerleader but also challenge you to become a better version of yourself!

What else do you put in your essentials list?

I believe that health and fitness is much more than just nutrition and training. Outside of the gym, everyone has their own challenges and obstacles they are facing. I believe that in conjunction with training & nutrition, focusing on stress management, improving sleep quality, and developing healthy habits is key to reaching our goals and ensuring long term success.
